Daddy's day xxx

Happy Saturday all,

Hope you are all enjoying the few rays of sunshine we are having!!! Isn't it supposed to be summer!!!!! So last week end was father's day and here is a card I made for my second half on this special day... We are both into "retro" stuff and this stamp from an old Pink Cat Studio set was just ideal! I also made him a little "sour cream container" which I filled with -just- 3 mon chéri! He has diabetes so thought of his diet! Gave some to my dad in a box I made and I ate the rest!!! So these to go with the bear trimmer/shaver he got from us -so now no excuses for not being shaved!!!!!

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful week end xxx

At last...........

Happy Thursday everyone!!!! I am finally here to show you a card -I actually thought that day would never come!!!! This is one of the birth announcement I made for the arrival of our little angel. They were all different but didn't think about taking piccies before sending them out! Anyway the stamps are from Pink Cat Studio and I love them -sooooooooooooooo cute-, papers are from Paper Salon and bits and bobs to embelish it..........
And inside...
Our little Lilubel is growing up pretty fast and after a couple of weeks of being unwell with a bronchiolitis, she has fully recovered and is now full of life and smiling again....
Take all care and yourselves and I cannot promise that I will be a better blogger but I will do my best!!!! See if the kiddies let me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Packing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I was supposed to post a few things BUT I have been soooooooooooooooooo busy with packing stuff. I've been snowed under boxes!!! We're off on wednesday and the boys cannot wait. Tristy Pooh wants it to be only one day left before we go -everyday I get "I'm dressed now Mummy can we go to France!" and the 2 others are very excited about "becoming" proper french!!! Bless them...

Now for the crafty side of this post! These were made for the teachers -18 all together!!!- for Christmas. The box in a bag were filled with homemade fudge and the "pocket" card with toffee cookies in every single one of them -I could actually make the all lot with my eyes close now!!! They were a success and I had to hand the recipes over to the greediest ones!!!

Something else I made for Aidan's teacher as all the other ones already had one at some point throughout the years! I made this out of salt dough and hand painted it with acrylic -diluted with lots of watet- before putting 3 coats of "yacht" varnish on both side. The little pencils sticking out of the bag were made with wooden skewers. She loved it.

Enjoy the rest of the week end -who knows we might get a bit of sunshine if we're lucky!!!

The tutorial can be found on the SCS website. It's party time....

First challenge!

Good evening... This is the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge sketch and it was so much fun that I will definitely take part in some more. Tomorrow is Aidan's birthday and I've used the cute little "cowboy Billy" stamp from Pink Cat Studio. I just love this little guy who actually reminds me of our Aidan with his round little face.. .Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww... Of course I have used my fantastic new promarkers to color him -I soooooooooooooooooo love them that I just couldn't stop colouring in! ... The papers are from Crate Papers, cardstock from S U, brads from Basic Grey and some buttons to replace the flowers on the sketch. I have kept it quite simple as it is a boys card and I have actually rotated it, I must admit that wasn't deliberate but I think it still looks fab like that... Done now the inside and the matching enveloppe...

I'm pretty sure Aidan is going to love it. I have also finished his little bags and pouches but I will have to post them tomorrow as I still have to go and wrap all his pressies...Good night all... And maybe tomorrow the sun is going to shine...

And I even have something to show you! Valerie challenged the Dt at Pink Cat Studio into making a Easter card with lots of flowers on and that is why I have chosen this gorgeous paper from Doodlebug. The card is not that great but I wasn't really in a mood for itt that day - too much on my mind I suppose and it's crushing my Mojo!.... Voila.

Where's Mojo!!!

Well no I haven't disappeared from the surface of the planet!!!! I haven't blogged for a few days as I had my mind preoccuped with some incident that happened at the school between Ethan and one of his little friend. Ethan is fine and it was not his fault at all but the matter was still pretty serious... So I haven't had any inspiration at all to make any cards lately and my mojo has disappeared!!!! So if you see it could you please send it back to me as it's greatly missed! *lol*...

I managed to make a card last night but I'm not totally happy with it... *sigh*... I have used this cute little dinosaur from Whipper Snapper which I love especially to create babies cards. I also wanted to do something else other tht pale blue which is a bit too common. The greeting is from Pink Cat Studio and the background on the orangey brown -don't know what this colour is!- is from Penny Black... I have added some diamond glaze on the egg. Et voila... Hope you still like it.

Stamps : Whipper Snapper, Pink Cat Studio, Penny Black - Patterned Paper : Doodlebug - Cardstock : SU - Photo Anchorz and Brads : Junkitz. Scallop Square and scallop circle Nestabilities.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday.

She's here and her name is Lily...

This sweet little girl is the newest addition to the Pink Cat Studio line of rubber stamps. Her name is Lily and she is just a bundle of fun! Today the design team members are posting sneak peeks of the cards they have made using the fun new Lily & Tweet stamps. So be sure to check out the team member blogs to see all of the cards.

For the first card I used lots of pink as I made it with a friend of mine's little girl in mind who absolutely LOVES anything pink and she's a right cheeky little Miss. The papers are from Doodlebug and this has to be some of favorite ones too.

Stamps : Pink Cat Studio - Patterned Papers : Doodlebug - Cardstock - Brads - Flowers.

I made a Kick stand card for the second one and this stamp is ever so cute - reminded me of when I used to dress up in my mum's clothes and shoes... I used my Nestabilities - again - and the swirls sizzlits.

It's the week end!

And still no sunshine... YUK... On top of that I have to go to the supermarket - suicidal on a saturday - but I need to go and get Tristan his birthday cake for tuesday... The little Muppet is turning 2 - already :o(... Before doing all that I had to choose a card with my favorite stamps from the new set from Pink Cat Studio!!! What a tough one it was - I love them all so much... But I chose this little chick sewing in her nest - I love the sentiment that goes with it too and it's also part of the set!!! The mounted image is on dimensionals and I used my nestabilities scallop circle here. The patterned paper is from Pebble inc...

Stamps : Pink Cat Studio - Patterned Paper : Pebble Inc - Cardsstock - Ribbon - Scallop circle nestabilities.

It's much brighter than what I usually go for but they go so well with the little bird and I like the way it turned out. The papers are from Daisy Bucket d and the stamps are again from the new Tweet plate from Pink Cat Studio... The bright cherry cardstock was supposed to be mounted onto the same green card as the image but I didn't have enough left... lol
