Puppy love...

Happy frosty Monday!!! Yes another week end over and it is so cold outside again... Brrr I think I'll stay in today!!! YAY Prison Break is back on tonight so something to look forward to -I'm so addicted to this show!!!

Now... Who says Cats and dogs couldn't get along... This cute stamp is from Inky Antics and I so love it... I did try to make it a quick card but noooooooo... Took me quite a long time to make this one... The paper is from Cherry Arte and it is a doublesided one. Again I tried to use more scraps of cardstock too but the more I try the more there is to go back in the drawer!!!

Kim's Challenge...

Kim at Simply Fairies is having a blog candy, the challenge is to make a birthday card and this is what I came up with for it! This is my first challenge and it was really fun to do. Been feeling a bit down with very little self confidence lately so I really enjoyed making this card.

For those who haven't read previous post. I used a Inky Antics rubber stamp which is a Christmas one but there is no way I was only going to use it for Christmas!!! Far too cute to stay in a drawer for the rest of the year!!! I just masked her little Christmas hat for this card. I tried to match as much as possible the colour of the dotty patterned paper -YUMMY!-, added some liquid applique to her outfit, diamond glaze to the vespa, a couple of flowers -I really like those plastic ones as it makes a nice change from the Prima ones!!!- a few (!!!! :D) brads and I love the greeting! Ta da da............... here it is!

Stamps : Inky Antics, Art Impressions - Patterned Papers : Basic Grey - Cardstock : Bazzill - Liquid Applique - Diamond Glaze - Brads - Flowers.

I'm quite happy with the way it turned out... What do you think? You like it?

Keep warm...

Yeah it's friday!

So last day of school and movie night with the boys tonight!!! Aidan chose -again for the 1ooth time!- Spiderman 3. We just love friday night sitting in front the Tv with a bag of popcorn!

Made more cards last night. I got my new Inky Antics "holiday vespa girl" on wednesday and I love her!!! I just can't stop playing with her! I also thought she was far too cute to use only on Christmas cards so I have made a couple of cards masking her hat and on another one her hat and the presents on the back of the vespa!

From left to right... And so sorry about the poor quality picture!

The first card I used Basic grey papers -figgy pudding, just YUMMY! colored her with markers watercoloured the background and used diamond glaze on the vespa -on all cards for that one. The cute flower is from Greenhouse.

The second card I used Daisy bucket design papers, grosgrain ribbon. The flowers are from first class crafts.

Stamps : Inky Antics - Papers : Basic Grey and Daisy Bucket Design - Cardstock : Bazill- Flowers and Ribbons.

The third card I masked her hat, colored her with markers and watercolour pencil. The paper is again from Basci grey.

And finally the fourth one is in black and pink. I've had this dotty paper for ages. Doesn't really show on the picture but the dots are pale pink. The Eiffel Tower and Paris stamps are from Clear choice -never really use them but think they look great on that card.

Stamps : Inky Antics, Clear Choice - Papers : Basic Grey - Cardstock - Ribbons and Brads.

That is all from me for today!! Have a great week end...

Love
