Cards in a flash!!!

Happy Saturday all!!! Hope you are having a wonderful week end and have as much of a sunshine as we have over here! What a beautiful spring day. Today our Aidan and Tristan were invited to 2 of their little friends' birthday and I must admit that I had completly forgotten about it so I made 2 quick cards last night for them! And here they are... The stamps are from Pink Cat Studio, design papers for Stampin up and Crate Paper and a few buttons, ribbons to finish them off!!! And here they are....

Tomorrow should be as sunny as today so we will have our first BBQ of the year with families and friends! Have all a fab week end. Take care and have fun...

Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope the week is starting well for you all, staying away from nasty bugs and enjoying the sunshine if you are having any!!! So I'm still playing with my new stamps from The Greeting farm and this one is my favorite one : the Cheeky Rockabilly coloured with promarkers and to make her look ever saucier I have given her big brown eyes!!! Over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog, it is all about circle and scallop and over at the CPS Blog, they have a fab sketch so I combined those 2 challenges together and off the card goes to be included!!! The starry paper is from Fancy Pants and the Dotty one from Echo Park, ribbon and sparkly hearts to give it a bit of ouh la la... Let's rock!!!

Time for a change!!!

Happy Monday everyone and what a beautiful one it is over here! First a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big sister who is 41 and our little Lilubel who is 5 months today!!! Then, I thought it was time to relook my blog  it took me about 2 hours fiddling about with the new design !!!! Definitely not a computer genius but I have done it and I sooooooooooooo love it! Loooooove Cherries and I was inspired by my leg!!! lol...

Now onto a card! This one is for Friday sketch challenge. The stamp is the Cheeky Mate from The Greeting farm -sooooooooooooooooooo cute-, sentiment and brads from Stampin up, patterned papers from Crate Papers and some buttons and ribbons to embelish it!

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are all having a very relaxing day!!! Weather is a bit grey in Britanny but the boys wanted to go for a walk on their roller skates, we didn't get caught in the rain!!!!!!!!!!! At least it gave me another excuse for not doing the ironing! That pile has been staring at me for days and I just keep ignoring it!!!!!!!!!!! This week  cute card Thursday is celebrating their 4th birthday so the challenge is birthday card. I played along with my new stamps from The Greeting Farm and I soooooooooooooooo love them! That one is the cheeky shooter, patterned papers from Crate Paper, brads and wooden stars to finish it off... Yee Ha....

Another baby boy

Happy Thursday everyone -even though it is evening already!!! We just seem to have a few baby boys due soon as another friend of ours is expecting a little boy for the 14th of July -fireworks day over here!!! So I came up with that card which is also for the  Card positioning system. They have a fab sketch and they are sponsored by Bombshell Stamps. They have a fab range of old school stamps - anything old school is for me!!!!!! The little cowboy is from Pink Cat Studio, design paper is from Crate paper and bits and pieces to finish it off!!! Children's day

Happy wednesday everyone! Kiddies day over here in France as it is their day off so the house is full of life!!!! Today our Lilu had her jab done, bless her. Doesn't take the smile off of her face though... Now for the card part, this one is for a friend of us who is expecting a baby boy for next month. I wanted to do something other than a pastel coloured one so here is what I came up with. It is for the cute card Thursday challenge where they have a fab sketch. The stamp -one of my favorite for babies card- is from Whipper Snapper, Sentiment is from Stampin up and Papers from Dream Street.

Birthday boy

Happy Tuesday all!!! Today is a very special day in our household as it is Aidan's 8th birthday! A very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little grumpy clown!!!!  When we asked how he felt about being 8 now he replied "well I feel bigger and I write even better now!!!!" Bless him... He was ever so happy with the canvas his stepdad painted for him, his books, his game and the card I made him. But he pointed out that I forgot to make a bookmark for his books!!!! So here is the card I came up with. The little guy -colored with promarkers- is from Whiff of Joy, sentiment is from Stampin up and  papers are from Cherry Arte.

Sunny Monday!!!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a fab week end, unfortunately it was pretty cloudy and wet over here but today is a beautiful spring day after a very foggy morning!!! Today's card is for the Passion for Promarkers challenge. It is all about making a mother's day/female relative card. Mine is for my big sister who is going to be 41 in a week!!! The stamp is from High Hopes and just remind me of when her and I used to spend hours playing outside!!! We are getting soooooooooooooooooo old!!!! lol...

Oh Saturday!!!

Here is another St Patrick Card -after leaving in the Uk for almost  16 years, I never made a single one and now I am back in France I have 3 to make!!!! Wooowwww...

I'am quite impressed myself! Two cards in one day!!!! This is the card for the High Hopes challenge wich is not easy to be green -make a St Patrick card or add some green. So here is my card... I love this little guy sitting on his pot of gold. Promarkers to colour him, papers are from Daisy Buckets.

As for our little walk, well the sunshine disapeared even faster than it came out and we actually stayed home where I caught up with the housework and washing!!! oh what fun.... Take all care of yourselves and have a fab week end.

I made this one for my dad to thank him for all he does for us... He is spanish and not italian but I am pretty sure he will like it! Anyway this has actually opened my appetite and I am going staight into the kitchen to start on lunch before the boys come back from school.

Grandmothers..................

It was grandmother's day over here in France today so happy Nana's day to all the grandmas out there and especially to mine who turned 97 this year... Also to my dear mum and the boys didn't forget to ring her to wish her a very good day. So today's card is dedicated to them... The stamp is from Whiff of joy -which was quietly stamped for me by the lovely Sue. I coloured the image with my promarkers, the papers are from a little pad I bought over here and bits and pieces to finish it off!!!

At last...........

Happy Thursday everyone!!!! I am finally here to show you a card -I actually thought that day would never come!!!! This is one of the birth announcement I made for the arrival of our little angel. They were all different but didn't think about taking piccies before sending them out! Our little Lilubel is growing up pretty fast and after a couple of weeks of being unwell with a bronchiolitis, she has fully recovered and is now full of life and smiling again....

Almost a year already.................

So this is it, it's almost been a year and My how time flies!!! Like Ethan said "Mummy this year has gone by so quickly"!!!!! So we have all settled in our french live, the boys absolutely love it here and were very happy with their new school where they have been welcomed with opened arms. Such a relief for me who was soooooooooooo scared for them, it's always difficult for them to change school let alone in another country!!! They have done ever so well and the 3 of them are going up a class next year. Soooooooooooooo proud of them... They are now on holiday -since the 1st of July- for 2 months!!!!

As for me, I have never been sooooooooooooooooooo happy and now know I made the right choice... I have got back the very first love of my life whom I met when I was 16 and he was 21... 18 years ago we went our separte ways but have never been able to find what we had together with the people we choose... Our baby girl is due on the 31st of October!!!! As for crafting I have just started again and will soon have to start on the birth announcements!!!! Anyway I promise to be back later on with a card!!!!

Packing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I was supposed to post a few things BUT I have been soooooooooooooooooo busy with packing stuff. I've been snowed under boxes!!! We're off on wednesday and the boys cannot wait. Tristy Pooh wants it to be only one day left before we go -everyday I get "I'm dressed now Mummy can we go to France!" and the 2 others are very excited about "becoming" proper french!!! Bless them...

Now for the crafty side of this post! These were made for the teachers -18 all together!!!- for Christmas. The box in a bag were filled with homemade fudge and the "pocket" card with toffee cookies in every single one of them -I could actually make the all lot with my eyes close now!!! They were a success and I had to hand the recipes over to the greediest ones!!!

Something else I made for Aidan's teacher as all the other ones already had one at some point throughout the years! I made this out of salt dough and hand painted it with acrylic -diluted with lots of watet- before putting 3 coats of "yacht" varnish on both side. The little pencils sticking out of the bag were made with wooden skewers. She loved it.

Long time...........

Well I suppose it has been a while but I have been dealing with family issues and not very much to craft -apart from here and there when I needed to!!!- or do anything else really. The 3 musketeers have kept me busy too and the 4 of us are now getting ready to go back to France for good... So a very exciting time but also very stressful -which would explain the migraines!!!! lol...

I will try and post a few things I have made but there isn't that many... Enjoy the Sunshine and have a fab week end...

Poorly boy...

Bad enough to have a sick child but even worse when it's on a Monday... My poor little Tristy pooh has been feeling poorly since Friday night -although he was fine Saturday and until Sunday late afternoon- and last night he was sick again so I was at the doctors' first thing in the morning and the poor little lamb has got a ear infection... He's fast asleep now which is definitely not like him to sleep in the afternoon!! I just hate to see them like this especially because Tristan is usually full of life and a right little wriggler too... At least I get extra cuddles...

The whiff of joy challenge this week was a great sketch. I had so much fun with it until I realised that I stuck the papers the wrong way so I had to rotate it... OOPS... Don't if it'll count but here is what I came up with. The Sentiment is Stamping Bella, The Papers are from Paper Salon, Card stock from S U and the usual bits and bobs...

I have also been tagged by Gina.... The rules is to share the 4th picture of your 4th folder on your PC. Well my 4th folder was some pictures of the kids' school plays which I cannot put on the web so I went for the next folder and here is the piccie... This little cutie is my Parent's Lassa Hapso (spelling?) Tommy in Tristan's pyjamas!!!
