Happy thursday everyone one! It actually looks as autumn is on its way. Grey sky and rain are on the menu for this week and I soooooooo miss that sunshine already gone far too quickly -as fast as it came!!!! Anyway the card for today was made for my lovely mum. She had been waited for months before I finally managed to get some pictures she wanted so much developped, so this explains the sentiment! The image is from Whimsy stamps from the Kenny K retro collection. This week the challenge over at cutecardthursday is "square card" so as I am on time this for entering it, this card will be in it maybe to win it!

Happy Thursday everyone! Not doing too well with keeping this blog updated but time is pretty hard to find in this household to do so... But I have a few minutes before heading to bed so I shall show you what I came up with with my new stamps from Whimsy Stamps! I soooooooooo love the Kenny K retro collection and I had so much fun created this card for a lady from Paris who wanted to have one of my creation. I added a little personal touch with the little girly skull and the cherries! I have 3 more stamps to play with -well 2 as I have made a card with the "Super Mom" one which I shall show you very soon -well let's hope!... Hope the sun is shining wherever you are and that you are enjoying it as much as we have over here. Take care...

Hope you are all enjoying the few rays of sunshine we are having!!! Isn't it supposed to be summer!!!!! So last week end was father's day and here is a card I made for my second half on this special day... We are both into "retro" stuff and this stamp from an old Pink Cat Studio set was just ideal! I also made him a little "sour cream container" which I filled with -just- 3 mon chéri! He has diabetes so thought of his diet! Gave some to my dad in a box I made and I ate the rest!!! So these to go with the bear trimmer/shaver he got from us -so now no excuses for not being shaved!!!!!

sweet gifts for a mummy

Hello everyone,

It has been a while but the sun is out so, so am I!!! It was mother's day a couple of weeks ago over here in France and my Mum loves to receive her "handmade" gifts so this time I came up with a little jar of homemade salted buttered toffee and a box of homemade fudge. A few papers, ribbons and lots of love and VOILA. She loved both the outside and what was inside too!!!!

Hi all,

It has been quite a while since I posted something but trying to find the time to do anything crafty is almost impossible!!!! Anyway our Aidan asked me to make something special for his "little girlfriend"'s birthday so I thought that the little cowgirl stamp for TGF would be ideal for that. The card was a success with Aidan and the little girl too!!! I mad a matching enveloppe, gift tag with her initial on and a little sweet box. So here is what I came up with ....

I will be back to post more soon as we have been celebrating yesterday our Lilu's first birthday. I made some thank you card and gift bag for everyone!!! Will post them soon... Well I hope!!! In the meantime I am going to try and make the most of this depressing weather -although I heard a bit of sunshine should reappear over the week end!!! Have all a wonderful week end xxx

Time goes by sooooooooooooooooo quickly..................

Happy Friday everyone! It has been a while since I have posted anything but had a few things to sort out in my life!!!! Anyway all is good -well it has to be!!!- and here I am to show you that little doll after painting and varnishing. I don't really do 'blues' but my Mum wanted it in that color and I must admit that I am quite happy with it. Well my Mum was so that is all matters....

Something other than cards...

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all had a fab week. I didn't get a chance to post anything much this week but I have been busy making something other than cards. I used to make dolls out of salt dough but I have discovered the "air hardening clay" which is more resistant to humidity. I made one for my mother in law for xmas but she told me that "she" was a bit bored on her own up on the wall and needed a little brother!!! The little curly haired doll will probably be for my mum -who has already got a pretty big collection of them!!!- as mother's day is in a couple of months over here... They are happily drying in the sun as they need about 6 days before being painted and  then varnished... The next thing I might give a go at is "porcelaine froide" which is apparently a delight to work so watch this space...

Cards in a flash!!!

Happy Saturday all!!! Hope you are having a wonderful week end and have as much of a sunshine as we have over here! What a beautiful spring day. Today our Aidan and Tristan were invited to 2 of their little friends' birthday and I must admit that I had completly forgotten about it so I made 2 quick cards last night for them! And here they are... The stamps are from Pink Cat Studio, design papers for Stampin up and Crate Paper and a few buttons, ribbons to finish them off!!! And here they are....

Tomorrow should be as sunny as today so we will have our first BBQ of the year with families and friends! Have all a fab week end. Take care and have fun...

So I'm still playing with my new stamps from The Greeting farm and this one is my favorite one : the Cheeky Rockabilly coloured with promarkers and to make her look ever saucier I have given her big brown eyes!!! Over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog, it is all about circle and scallop and over at the CPS Blog, they have a fab sketch so I combined those 2 challenges together and off the card goes to be included!!! The starry paper is from Fancy Pants and the Dotty one from Echo Park, ribbon and sparkly hearts to give it a bit of ouh la la... Let's rock!!!

Happy Monday everyone and what a beautiful one it is over here! First a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my big sister who is 41 and our little Lilubel who is 5 months today!!! Then, I thought it was time to relook my blog  it took me about 2 hours fiddling about with the new design !!!! Definitely not a computer genius but I have done it and I sooooooooooooo love it! Loooooove Cherries and I was inspired by my leg!!! lol...

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are all having a very relaxing day!!! Weather is a bit grey in Britanny but the boys wanted to go for a walk on their roller skates, we didn't get caught in the rain!!!!!!!!!!! At least it gave me another excuse for not doing the ironing! That pile has been staring at me for days and I just keep ignoring it!!!!!!!!!!! This week  cute card Thursday is celebrating their 4th birthday so the challenge is birthday card. I played along with my new stamps from The Greeting Farm and I soooooooooooooooo love them! That one is the cheeky shooter, patterned papers from Crate Paper, brads and wooden stars to finish it off... Yee Ha....

Another baby boy

Happy Thursday everyone -even though it is evening already!!! We just seem to have a few baby boys due soon as another friend of ours is expecting a little boy for the 14th of July -fireworks day over here!!! Children's day

Happy wednesday everyone! Kiddies day over here in France as it is their day off so the house is full of life!!!! Today our Lilu had her jab done, bless her. Doesn't take the smile off of her face though... Now for the card part, this one is for a friend of us who is expecting a baby boy for next month. I wanted to do something other than a pastel coloured one so here is what I came up with. It is for the cute card Thursday challenge where they have a fab sketch. Birthday boy

Happy Tuesday all!!! Today is a very special day in our household as it is Aidan's 8th birthday! A very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little grumpy clown!!!!  When we asked how he felt about being 8 now he replied "well I feel bigger and I write even better now!!!!" Bless him... He was ever so happy with the canvas his stepdad painted for him, his books, his game and the card I made him. But he pointed out that I forgot to make a bookmark for his books!!!! Sunny Monday!!!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a fab week end, unfortunately it was pretty cloudy and wet over here but today is a beautiful spring day after a very foggy morning!!! Today's card is for the Passion for Promarkers challenge. It is all about making a mother's day/female relative card. Mine is for my big sister who is going to be 41 in a week!!! Wooowwww...

I'am quite impressed myself! Two cards in one day!!!! This is the card for the High Hopes challenge wich is not easy to be green -make a St Patrick card or add some green. So here is my card... I love this little guy sitting on his pot of gold. Promarkers to colour him, papers are from Daisy Buckets.

As for our little walk, well the sunshine disapeared even faster than it came out and we actually stayed home where I caught up with the housework and washing!!! oh what fun.... Take all care of yourselves and have a fab week end.

Grandmothers..................

It was grandmother's day over here in France today so happy Nana's day to all the grandmas out there and especially to mine who turned 97 this year... Also to my dear mum and the boys didn't forget to ring her to wish her a very good day. So today's card is dedicated to them... The stamp is from Whiff of joy -which was quietly stamped for me by the lovely Sue. I coloured the image with my promarkers, the papers are from a little pad I bought over here and bits and pieces to finish it off!!!

Our little Lilubel is growing up pretty fast and after a couple of weeks of being unwell with a bronchiolitis, she has fully recovered and is now full of life and smiling again....
